Covid-19

All waste and agricultural contracts remain classified as critical services.

In response to the easing of restrictions, we would just like to reassure our customers that our services will continue to run as normally and a s safely as possible during these challenging times.

We made a number of changes back in March 2020 which we have continued to work under throughout the winter months. At the moment, we are continuing to operate with restrictions in place until the Government advises that it is safe to lift restrictions in the work place.

  • Our offices remain open by appointment only and we have sanitising stations, PPE and designated facilities available for visitors. We are limiting office visits to essential work only and this applies to our own staff as well as customers and other visitors.
  •  We update our staff with the symptoms listed on the gov.uk website and anyone with Covid-19 symptoms or a positive test result should stay at home and self-isolate immediately.
  • Our operational and technical support staff continue to be home-based, observing social distancing whenever they are out and about. Our recycling services, including transport, field visits and technical work are currently unaffected, and this is reviewed on a daily basis.
  • We are continuing to host meetings via Teams or Zoom., but when meetings need to be face to face we hold socially distanced meetings in our large boardrooms with a continuous  flow of fresh air.  All meetings held are by appointment only to ensure we limit the numbers on site at any one time.
  • We send out regular coronavirus updates to all of our staff to make sure they are up to date on all of the latest guidance and information. These updates include information on the following, staying safe, symptoms, close contact, self isolating, face coverings and first aid.
  • We will endeavour to keep everyone up to date with any potential changes or impacts on our services.

We hope all of customers and friends stay safe and well in these unprecedented times.
