As a result of continuous growth and development, we are creating a new role within the company and have a Field Officer position available in the North Wales/Cheshire region.
This excellent opportunity includes working with our team of By-product Sales and Recycling Field Officers in promoting and selling the benefits of the by-products we recycle to land. You will ideally be an active part of the farming community and your strong communication skills will help you to build good relationships with local farmers, enabling you to learn what their fertiliser needs are so that the supply and use of by-products for their maximum benefit can be achieved.
You will be home based in the region. Duties will include helping to identify new farm customers and recycling sites; assisting in the supervision of daily recycling operations; soil sampling; mapping and risk assessments.
We will give you the support of our specialist, in-house technical team who will provide the training to ensure you fully understand the required tasks as well as the advantages and benefits of the by-products to be recycled. Ongoing technical/agronomic backup will then be given along with the opportunity for you to develop your career within the company.
- Agricultural background
- Agricultural, Soil Science, Environmental qualification or BASIS (FACTS) registered
- Self-motivated, confident with mature attitude, able to work unsupervised as required
- IT Proficient
- Full clean driving licence
Remuneration will be tailored to the individual, but will include a competitive salary (subject to qualifications and experience), use of a company funded vehicle and career progression.
