Agricultural Recycling Manager Vacancy – East Midlands

Due to continuous growth and development, we are recruiting within the company and have a full-time, permanent Agricultural Recycling Manager position available in the East Midlands region.

 

This excellent opportunity includes working with our team of By-product Sales and Recycling Field Officers in promoting and selling the benefits of the by-products we recycle to land.  A key part of this role is maintaining regulatory and customer compliance.

 

You will ideally be an active part of the farming community with strong communication skills to help build and maintain excellent relationships with local farmers.

 

The role is home based in the region.  Duties will include helping to identify new farm customers and recycling sites; supervision of daily recycling operations; soil sampling; mapping and risk assessments and pre and post spreading checks.

 

We will give you the support of our specialist, in-house technical team who will provide the training to ensure you fully understand the required tasks as well as the advantages and benefits of the by-products to be recycled.  Ongoing technical/agronomic backup will then be given along with the opportunity for you to develop your career within the company.

 

Desirable requirements:

  • Agricultural background
  • Agricultural, Soil Science, Environmental qualification or BASIS (FACTS) registered
  • WAMITAB/CSM qualification or experience
  • IT Proficient
  • Good record keeping skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, confident with mature attitude, able to work unsupervised as required
  • Full clean driving licence

 

Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.  Remuneration will be tailored to the individual and will include a competitive salary (subject to qualifications and experience), 25 days holiday plus the 8 recognised and customary Public Holidays, enrolment in our occupational pension scheme, use of a company funded vehicle and career progression.
