What we do: 4R Group are an award-winning group of companies whose core business activities are environmental consultancy (4R Environmental Consultants), industry by-product recycling (4R Recycling) and farm advisory services (4R Reassurance). Our client base ranges from small-scale farmers to public bodies and multi-national industrial corporations. Due to continuous growth and development, we are recruiting for full-time, permanent Agricultural Recycling Managers.
What you will do : Our Agricultural Recycling Managers are responsible for the day to day management and delivery of our recycling service contracts. This involves liaison with both our producer and farmer clients, supervising land-spreading activities, sourcing & securing new farm outlets, planning and directing HGV movements.
You will also need to gather and prepare the information required for the technical team to submit permit applications to the regulatory body, such as land topography, previous fertiliser applications, cropping details, site assessments, risk assessments & method statements, soil sampling etc..
You will provide competent advice and guidance to our farmer clients, as well as ensuring Health and Safety requirements are met and all aspects of environmental compliance.
What you need: We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with at least two years experience in agricultural land-spreading contract management who can be adaptable and flexible to work across a range of contracts and services.
Relevant qualifications such as FACTS and/or BASIS registered/WAMITAB are desirable.
The role will require frequent travel, mainly in the North West, North East, Yorkshire and Midlands regions, comprising of farm visits, events, field-based and office-based work.
Location: 4R has offices in Knottingley, Yorkshire and Newent, Gloucestershire and these roles can be based at either or home based with travel to the office as and when required.
Contract: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Duration: Permanent
Salary: up to £38k depending upon qualifications and experience
